Christian Praise Songbook and Hymnal app good for
This is a great app but it is not $0.99 like it says in the description. Your account will be charged the $4.99.
Cant favorite songs is its only drawback. Ifu like worshipping God this has lots of songs :)
Some bad moments
The search option crashes! Its difficult and waste of time to find the song by scrolling down. This should be fixed.
Not bad app. The lyric of some songs go beyond the ipad screen bottom.
Alternative background should be available.
Different font choices should be available.
Needs more work.
FYI, Im using a 2nd Gen iPod touch running OS 4.... Ok here is the main issue. I can scroll through the songs at lightening speed with a flick of a finger. The letter shortcut on the right hand side works just fine. My main issue is with the search feature. The app freezes when I start typing in the name of a hymn. It has even closed out the app. The only other problem Ive found is in the praise music section. There seems to be some type of notation mixed into the verses. This completely distracts the reader from the actual hymn. The notations/chord indicators need to go. Besides these issues I do like this app and hope future updates will work out the bugs. Thanks
This app is a nice one but there are a few issues
1.) weird places where the lettering is messed up.
2.) needs a few more well-known songs (Glorious Things of Thee are Spoken, praise ye the lord the almighty)
Thank you for showing a Christian spirit and making this app.
I cant get app to download. All it does is say waiting. I cant deleate it to re-install. I am stuck with nothing.why no download, Ive been waiting 4-5 hours. This may be a great app but it wont load so I dont know.
however, most of the songs are obscure. Who knows 6000 humns, anyway? (I am familiar with about 300.) Its nice to have so many on hand to explore (Im glad I bought this app), but what makes it hard is that all the hymns have their lines left-aligned, AND there are no spaces between stanzas! This is unacceptable; its difficult to read a wall of text unrelieved by spaces or line indentations. At least the refrains should be in italics, but even they are the same font style as the regular text, and right-aligned too. Much better to correct these problems than to add more songs. Now I know why we dont see a screenshot of a hymn page.
